ℹ️ Demonstration Platform Notice: DeepDive is a portfolio demonstration web application. This Privacy Policy accurately reflects the technical data processing currently implemented in the codebase.
1. Information Collected
We process only data strictly necessary for user account creation, dive reservation dispatch, and community reviews:
- Account Details: Full name, email address, and authentication credentials managed securely via Supabase Auth.
- Reservation Information: Chosen destination, dive package, preferred date, number of divers, total price estimation, and reservation status.
- Community Reviews: Display name, star rating, experience type, and written review content.
- System Notifications: Email addresses provided during booking/signup to send confirmation receipts via Nodemailer.
2. Payment & Credit Card Information
DeepDive does not collect or store credit card numbers, CVVs, or online banking credentials. Reservations submitted online generate confirmed booking receipts payable directly in-person at the dive center on the scheduled dive date.
3. Authentication & Storage
User sessions are persisted using standard browser `localStorage` / `sessionStorage` tokens managed by Supabase JS SDK. No non-essential tracking cookies or third-party advertising scripts are deployed on this platform.
⚠️ Business policy confirmation required: Formal data-retention schedules, international data transfer agreements, and legal entity details must be finalized by the commercial business owner prior to production commercial launch.
